Cardinals Trade Julio Lugo

The St. Louis Cardinals have traded Julio Lugo to the Baltimore Orioles for a player to be named later. The Cardinals signed Felipe Lopez to a one year deal this off-season making Lugo expendable. Lugo will play as a backup infielder for Baltimore providing depth behind Brian Roberts who has had back problems this spring and Cesar Izturis.
