Justin Upton Agrees to a Contract Extension with the Diamondbacks

Justin Upton has signed a 6 year extension worth approximately $51 million today which would keep him in Arizona until 2015. At only 22 years old, Upton broke out for a monster season in 2009 in which he clubbed 26 HR's, drove in 86 runs, batted .300, and stole 20 bases. He is clearly a player on the rise and it would be fair to say that he's now the best Upton in the family.
